Haste Rules. (Know your limits)

This is my view on the Haste rules and this is not approved by any Admin or GM, but build on the existing haste limits.

The Haste Rules.
You may only lower your Bolt Cast by 0.40 sec from the original cast time Unbuffed.
Melee may not have lower speed than 0.80 sec Unbuffed.
Hunters may not lower the bow speed below 1.50 sec Unbuffed.
(Taking your spec into consideration)

Here is a small list of the Max Haste for each spell/class.

Haste Hunter
Hunter may only use 450 Haste with the Vote Reward Bow + 15% Speed Quiver.

How to use this Class scale.

The further down in the classes you find a spell that you benefit from,
the lower your haste should be.

Ex: Destro warlocks with [Bane] is a .::Class 3::. And allowed to have 255 Haste.
Cause 255 Haste would take off exactly 0.40 sec cast time off [Shadow Bolt] With [Bane].

But Warlocks without [Bane] is a .::Class 4::. and only allowed to have 210 Haste.
Cause 210 Haste would take off exactly 0.40 sec cast time off [Shadow Bolt] Without [Bane].

Please PM me if you think there is a missing spell, or miss guiding words in this guide.
( I dint take Resto Druids/Shamans or Healing Priests into this. But if requested, they will be. )

My hunter on retail has like 1.70, Plus when your saying the legendary bow + a quiver? The quiver dont stack with the 15% from the bow.

Wait... Warlock classification --
Why would you be able to have more haste rating if you have talents that reduce the ability's cast time, then have less haste without the cast time reducing talent?
I believe it's an error in the text.

It's like saying you either have a 2.0 sec shadowbolt, or have a 3.0 sec shadowbolt - not in between (2.5). (Btw these are not correct numbers, just random calculations to exemplify the situation.)

Also, if you abide to these rules... stunlock > you.

actually he is right. Because haste rating lowers the casting time in percentage. So if you have 170haste rating meaning 10% casting time reduction you get a 2.5cast down to 2.25 where as a 3 second casting time down to 2.7 The effect on the first one is only 0.25sec whereas the second cast is reduced by 0.3 Therefor if we want to reduce the casting time of the first spell by its max 0.4 we would have to stack up more haste rating than on the second one. His math was right,no mistake there.

Basically: The lower the casting time on a skill the more haste rating you need to stack to have the same effect. The only thing that remains the same is the max haste rating wich is 1700 (theoretically) wich would make any casting skill into an instant skill and lower your global cd to 0.1. This is all theoretical and cannot be proven because there isnt enough haste gear/gem/buffs to get to that haste rating. But Blizzard said thats the max, so we should trust them on that one.
