Right now a lot of the theorycrafting sites are trying to figure out all of the variables that go into the new rating systems, and I wouldn’t doubt that all these factors they mention do actually go into it, such as:

-Team’s Gear Level taken into account in results of what team you face.

-Point’s based off your Hidden rating and not your Team’s rating.

-Hidden rating is your highest obtained rating in any bracket at one time during the season.

obviously shit.
basically you are not even supposed to do anything except PvE/PvP, strictly and unchangeable (unless you re-roll).
players that just dinged 80 will get higher ratings, pick up the gear and then never come out of the 1500 bracket again when they start doing other content.
