Hai,

So alot of people are worried or confused on what will get blizzard on our arse. this will hopfully inform you all so you can make suggestions and add content ingame without worry.

Custome Content
If you think that:

Adding Custome Armor Sets and Weapons
Adding Custome Zones and PVE Instances
Adding Custome Battlegrounds and PVP locations

Will get blizzard to close us, then your wrong. What all High to Instant rate realms have in common is "malls" Malls are custome content, custome vendors selling iteams. Custome voting and reward system giving iteams. You just customeized a zone fully for your server and this has been around since the beginning. So they dont care or cant do anything against Custome Content.

Being Number 1
Means very little to blizzard, Alot of servers over the years have been number 1 without any problems. Alot of servers are in the Top5 mark and get no problems with blizzard. Such sites as Xtremetop100 have been around since WoWemus have been around. So being number one wont make a differance if blizzard wants to stop private servers. As all servers would close and none will be left standing.

So why did blizzard close down 5 servers a few weeks back, Simple put they didnt. All the servers that went down are back up. What did all those servers have in common: They was all hosted by the same company. Hosting companys normaly change there policy over time to fit whats currently going on, on the web. Such companies as Sulake and other MMO companies do take action against Private Servers and this hosting company and blizzard do have some history and so they deiceded to just cut off all private servers and stay clean. Alot of people have looked into this and ive read serval articles posting the same thing.

70% of private server users play retial anyway, private servers is another way for blizzard to see what people want. Havnt you guys noticed the reduced leveling rates these past few years and the new quest and arena systems. Hmm didnt they all start on private servers (basic)... Blizzard qualy gets ideas and can see what people want from private servers. Private servers also dont really cut into there profit much to make them want to close private servers down.

Beta servers hosting beta WoW and Blizzard content do get swiftly closed by blizzard. But thats about it. If you guys did some reading into this you will see that alot of people get the wrong idea.

If blizzard wanted Private Servers closed or targeted them for certain things other then beta software, they would make a press release like all the other companies!

Anyway i hope that helped you guys out

Blizz cant do anything

The only thing blizzard could do is taking legal action against hosts for illegal use of their products.
But since they won't do that, this post is obvious, but for the people who have to be shown the obvious, it's a good post.

im kinda sick of reading people post "blizzard will close us down" on things that are already on the server and on mostly all servers already. Hopfully those posts with cut down now
