This is how you downpatch


1. delete patch.MPQ in your wow Data folder.
2. Run wow Repair.exe
3. while you are repairing, download the patches you want to install, 3.0.1- 3.0.2 patch and the 3.0.2 - 3.0.3 patch.. you can get them here http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors
4. install the patches after you finish downloading them
5. Make sure you change your realmlist after finish patch.. you dont wan to download 3.0.8 patch again
6. People should save a 3.0.3 WoW folder while they're at that patch in case if they decide to change again...

Yes, but what you're not including is that you CANNOT downpatch from 3.0 to 2.4.3

You have to reinstall to BC to get back to 2.0 servers.
Thanks for helping though. This will get rid of lots of topics and posts.

No. 3.0.8 is down, but it still exists. Rous is keeping 3.0.3 and .8 up until he can get 0.8 working much better than it is right now. They'll all probably be up tomorow. Also, add to your instrustions that people should save a 3.0.3 WoW folder while they're at that patch. For later issues.

So I re-downloaded BC yesterday, and for some reason, after it downloads all the files, I am in version 3.0.1 without any patches... Shocked Could it be that new Universal downloader crap?
