It started out like a deflated balloon, ready to be filled with the air of amazingness.

Release came. The balloon swelled to the max with awesome air.

Patch 1.2 is released. Balloon pops. Nothing is left.

Mythic has lost my loyalty.

What happened in patch 1.2? I left way before that, due to T3 and T4 being rediculous to try and level through.

Overall Crowd Control BUFF, which is exactly the opposite of what needs to happen. Archmages nerfed even further, which is the most needy class in the game as far as buffs are concerned. Detaunts nerfed to 25%, overall ORVR has been slaughtered... etc.

The list goes way on.

Don't even bother joining for Slayers/Choppahs.

There's ENOUGH MDPS in the game, and even more is another blow to the already weak healers in the game.

I admit it had a lot of potential, but after it crumbled, I think I've given up on MMOs for quite a while...

It definitely did. There's no denying that.

I got concerned though because PQs were starting to dialate into RVR, and then this. ORVR is now completely PQ, and City Sieges are completely PVE.

To be honest I might go back to Age of Conan to check it out. I was a part of the head-start thing and got my assassin to lvl 80 in about 2 weeks only to find that if you don't have a static grind group you aren't getting to 80 in a hurry. Lots of shit was fucked in that game, but who knows maybe it got better. I may at least try it.
