| I'm not going to post numbers, as rogue has never been one of my primary classes. You can easily find the specs on SK-gaming top100 though.
The most popular spec is mutilate/prep, and it's very good because of the damage output and survivability. It's also very noob friendly - basically anyone can play it.
That's also why I think shadowdance spec is better - it's the most complex rogue spec to play well. On the other hand, if you manage to master it, you'll have a lot of possibilities, and my experience tells me that shadowdance is superior to muti/prep in the hands of a skilled player.
It might not be the best for any setup, any arena bracket, but it's definitely a killer in 2v2 as rogue/mage.
EDIT: After checking the sk top100 it looks like Muti/prep is the best spec after all. Pretty ironic that the simplest spec to play does the best. | |
