some spec talents bugged for mage ?

Hi, making this cus i realy wonder, i just speced for some imba crit chanse and dmg, and i cant realy say it did any thing, i hit 12k on mobs, and that sucks, cus i with my other spec hit 15k's in duel,

The fire spec:
[Combustion]10x, gives 100% fire crit for 3 next crits
[Fire Power] 10% more dmg by fire spells
[Critical Mass] increases crit by 6%
[Playing with Fire] Increases all spell dmg coused by 3% and all taken by 3%

and with the arcane spec:
[Presence of Mind] next spell instant
[Arcane Potency] increases critby 30% for next spell casted
[Arcane Instability] increas your spell dmg and crit by 3%
[Arcane Power] spells deal 30% more dmg

my curent stats are:
2680 sp
38.85% normal crit 44.85% fire crit than with [Arcane Potency] 74.85% fire crit,

ok, i than use combustion and get it up to 10x, than use PoM and at the same time get [Arcane Potency], than hawe the crit that i need, than i use [Arcane Power] and a trinket that gives me 240sp for 30 sec and change my trinkets to the one that give me crit, than i try to hit some thing and BOOM.... nothing like 12k max and that suck hard if u comper it to my other spec were i hawe max 31% 2.9k sp wich my biggest crit with was 18k,

ok for all that just want to qq about bad writing and why do u qq about the dmg " if it dos not work dont use it" gtfo, i whant to know more about fire mages and why this dos not work wile all say thes talents do work, thx AND I KNOW I WRITE BAD SO STFU And hawe a nice day

change my trinkets to the one that give me crit". Combustion 10x is already 100% crit chance, wonder why you need even more crit rating.

And you dont mention the spell you cast i guess. If its Pyroblast, the damage is correct. With Scorch debuff and all those spells / trinkets / talents above, Pyro would hit max for 8500 non crit, which can in turn be a crit for 1.5 (or abit higher with Burnout talent) 12750.

What you dont count in is Ignite ticks, which is pretty huge and which is the fashion that Fire crits do damage. Ignite total damage would be : 5100
So total damage is 17850, which is pretty close to 18k.

If it was Frostfire Bolt, you can search for some retail clips of PvE gear Mage spamming it. It hits around 4k raid buffed and crit for around 10k. Some encounter has boss specific buffs might boost it to absurd amount but those numbers above are pretty much "raid buff / debuff only".

ok to make it "clearer" yeah i do mean Pyro, well i dont count the ignite in a duel im talking about the hit and a normal hit with my normal spec is around 10k, some times much higer on pve geared people, well ok i didant know that it counts more for the ignite, im talking about a fast duel not dmg over time count, my biggest hit was 18k not with tick and thats what i dont get with the spec, schouldent i hit higer?

thx for clearing me about the tick, but than i realy think it sucks that it dosnt say increases dmg dealt over time in the talents. 10x gives 100% didant think about it that way, well that meens i dont realy need more crit, but using an addon caled Dr.damage show's that my dmg increeses if i put on the crit trinkets, idk what to say about it..

i can live with bugged spells just make mirror image work ok i had my little qq i'm good now
