Lol'd If you mean to say don't level as feral then I must disagree, resto is shit to solo and balance is complete bleh until moonkin, my feral druid up to level 33 was fun as hell and I could last forever, easily invited to instances like gnomer and stocks as a tank or as a healer or just plain out dps.

well first I like pve and once I hit 80 I will be doing end game raids.. so I would like to ask first what are you forced to pick healer, caster dps,and tank? also I know how pvp is so that's not a question.. 2nd could you link me the best lvling specc in your point of view? kthxbai.. My favorite class to level is Warlock, and not just because they're my favorite class in general. We have so many insane utility purposes, and if played correctly Warlocks can be as versatile as Druids and Shaman in a PvE situation. In world PvP the Warlock's are lacking, this goes for duels, as well. In Battlegrounds, however, Warlock's true potential begins to show. DoT every single enemy near you and laugh as you reap 7k DPS from DoT's alone. Add a few shadowbolts and chaos bolts and youre smacking 10,000+ DPS in a decent combat situation. What alot of people don't realize is that when played properly a Spirit Build Affliction Warlock (For levelling) can actually achieve 100% (or more) Mana efficiency and HP Efficiency, resulting in literaly zero downtime, and I mean true zero downtime. On my original Warlock (Before ban on retail) I managed to grind mobs, all 1-2 levels high than myself, for 6 hours straight without dying or stopping for food or water even once or anything else. I love my Warlock. And if I die due to some misfortune, I can nearly always Soulstone myself back. It's an especially great comeback after being in a World PvP fight by somene you almost kill. Die, soulstone, then DoT and a quick shadowbolt and hopefully they're dead. Zero downtime, in fairly high demand, decent at PvP, excellent in PvE, excellent in BG's. The only downside I see to them is that a Warlock is pigeonholed into DPS and nothing else at level 80(and every other level), unlike Shaman/Druids/Paladins that can tank, DPS, OR Heal. Warlocks have self heals of a sort, such as Lifedrain, Healthstone and a few decent talents. The line between Mana and HP is very blurred, as one can easily be converted to the other through various means. Mana Drain, Life Tap, etc etc. Besides, a 25 man Raid just isn't complete with a Soulstone on a Priest, and that's where I come into play. ^Longest Post I've written in a few days...I think I'll Copy&paste this onto my blog...

Leveling wise? I dunno, all classes are pretty fast at it nowadays yeah, Destro's got some insane burst damage and is best for Arena's/World PvP for Warlocks, but I prefer Affliction for BG's just so I can DoT everyone and see myself as #1 Damage.

| Levelling rogue's problem isn't the time, it's the dying. It's always having to kill things a level below you or your abilities miss every damn time until you can spam hit rating. Then you sacrifice your AP/Crit, and all hell breaks lose. I just hate the levelling, but speedwise is a breeze. I went from 60-67 in a day. | |

When your a rogue and your leveling sub is the way to go. idc what anybody else says sub is sick for leveling. Reason being is preparation. And if you really fuck up you will always have cheat death. Anyway druids dont have alot of CDs as feral. Once you get into outlands you will be doing alot less quests in cat form and will kinda shift over to bear form more often. The reason is that shifting in and out of forms costs ALOT of mana (er um used to) so basicly once you get mangle and are in outlands you will be killing shit in bear form shift out use regrowth and shift back in and fuck some more people up rinse and repeat. The biggest issue rogues face while leveling is they need to level first aid or they are bumfucked. As a druid you dont even need to know first aid. Besides 2 manning princess as a druid is pretty sick. Also soloing a level 40 grp quest as a level 30 is sick. Feral leveling flows really nicely and you will get into a patern and level quickly. Also you will rarely die leveling and pvping. I would often take on entire instance groups while they were summoning and kill every one.

I agree 100%, which is why I love Warlock. At a glance you see only one style of play, DoT and Shadowbolt, but there's really so much more and there really is alot of versatility. It satisfies my cravings for change AND let's me kick ass.

Here's an EXCELLENT tip for levelling shaman. Don't go Ele until the later levels. Enhance is the only way to go from 1-60, even to 80 Enhance is probably the best. You go OOM all the time as elemental. At 80 go elemental, but until then I'd stay Enhance because it's less mana dependent. Plus, at level 32 (That's what level my current shaman is, before my old retail was banned I had a 62 Shaman, too) I can one shot mobs if I get a WF proc with my 2h Axe. Elemental requires you to drink every 5-8 of kills while levelling, Enhance you'll drink every 10-15

| On the realm nazjatar on retail, 1/5 of every 80 is a Druid, so they may not be in too high of demand at the moment, I'm not sure if it's like that on other realms, though. | |
