no you should at least have custom and non-custom realms (Kinda like Naxp does) and give the players a choice. Tbh it can't really be hardcore pvp unless your using good ole blizzard gear and not custom made legendaries.

custom items mess up pvp on a whole, because stats like resilence have cap where weapon dps, armor, and other stats don't have caps, so it will essentially be donor vs donor battles all day. I've been on servers like that (before i got max lvled on retail) and they we're fun then. But now i just want to live out my retail pvp fantasies without having to work too hard for it, that pvp fantasy involves Furious Glad, not Rouslan pawnage sword x2
