Killing a rogue as a non-prot warrior.

- As meny warriors may think, They fucking hate rogues, BUT! fear no more, theres a trick to kill them.

Gear that I would recommend

-You do not want prot gear, because then you will never do enough damage, and they will just sit there and slap you around all day.

-The base gear you should have is Arms gear with stam gems stacked, for second wind + blood craze will regenerate MASSIVE ammounts of HP.

-MH Weapon should be, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40345 - The broken promice, with the Battlemaster enchant. ( For more healing ) And the shield should be http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40400 Wall of terror.

What to do?


ALL OF THIS MUST BE IN DEFENCIVE STANCE ( When you are fighting )- USE SPELL REFLECT ALL THE TIME ALONG WITH REND
Rogues with crip poison -

As soon as the rogue hits you, with garrote or such ( Including stunlocking ) - Use Rend, thus he wont be able to re-enter stealth. He will try ( If hes good ) to bleed kite you, when hes doing that, USE SPELL REFLECT! Why spell reflect?!?!?! Poisons count as nature spell damage, thus you will reflect there crippling poison back at them so they will be going 70% slower ( Owned )

When the rogue dismantles you, dont get mad! get glad! All you need to do is put up shield block, and your home free for 10 seconds while dismantle is only 9. During that time of you being dismantled use shield bash/Shield slam/Thunderclap/Heroic strike, They will be your only DPS for the time that your dismantled. After he dismantles you, ( Or if you feel like it) Disarm him, he will probly run away, but thats why you Rend him. Put intercept on your action bar, it will help you know when he is out of range to intercept. Switch to zerker, intercept, go back to defence stance and rend him. If he evasions or anything dont worry just disarm, shield block ( If its not on cd ) or kite him ( Hes still effected by your poisons if your spell reflecting properly ). Continue to DPS, if wanted switch to zerker stance and bladestorm (With a 2h or a 1h/shield) Spam execute/MS in the bladestorm, Head back to defence and renew strat ( If he is not dead )

As far as im aware, Disarm has a 1minute CD. so really this tactic is useless if your planning onto Disarming him again after you just disarmed him.

You ever thought that Serker rage gets out of gouge / sap.
Also spell reflect can also reflect KIDNEY SHOT or garrote back onto the target as they are declared spells.

Most warriors do the tactic of staying in Def stance, but really your just starving yourself of rage.

BeS > DW
BaS > 2h
DS > 1h+Shield

battlemaster is a bad choice. Use Accuracy

Stamina stacking is a bad choice, By having more survivability you will do crappy dmg since gem sockets are designed for you to have a balanced survivability, not just stack one thing into every slot.

Never reflected KS back, Never watched swifty, Dismantle does remove shield but your still aloud to use the abilities, Last laugh has better DPS but the base damage is worse.

Its not about base dmg, technicall its stats are better than Broken promise.
Plus i prefer +5% increased crit than 2h sword spec. Always did, and many warriors can agree with me on that.

Think about hit rating

Your guide also tells about "Constantly" having rend on the target, Obviously. The technical design of rend is to stop a person from stealthing / eating-drinking during its duration.

Your basically saying that i should disarm an opponent straight after i disarmed him. Thats a fail plan, or tactic. Either way i don't care.

You need to play warriors more to know that BaS > BeS is usable, not just Intercept > Switch to BS stance and then kill him.

I beat rogues in battle stance. It's easy said and done,
Also remove the 1 point from execute and stick it into Piercing shout, since its debuff is a whole lot better than HS (HS rage = 14, where as PS is 10) And it can't be dodged/parried/missed or resisted.
