I always Install Vanilla, Then TBC. THEN download the patches. The patches go down about 1 gig, & If you have newer discs once you install TBC It'll reset to 2.0 (since the Vanilla WoW discs already have 2.4 installed, You wont have 2.3 saved). So you'll have to repatch after installing TBC anyway.

im just doing the first one off the vcn download page cause blizz made it so you start at 3.0.1

my nets fine santa it takes 20mins to download it from the offical wow site but blizz made it so if you do it from there you get sent to 3.0.1 straight away, doing it off the vcn download page
