go to start the go to run put in there msconfig then go to the start up tab and ss it for me

That's the Page file, it's alot more than your Random access memory.
This laptop has only 256mb of RAM (Friends PC, Borrowed it for this lesson) And its page file is over 600mb.

when you turn off enough processes the computer auto resets

you can also log out of windows then log back in to restart all processes.

delete every program that you dont need (ie, you have both opera and mozilla, pick one).
install AVG antivirus and run a full scan.
run disc cleanup.
run disc defragmenter.
restart your computer and post results.
