My svip account was hacked

Subject: My svip account was hacked Thu 12 Feb 2009, 9:57 pm

i have no idea wtf happened ive never once given out my password or my account name to anyone but today i tried to log in and it said "The information you have entered is not valid. please check the spelling of the account name and password.". i was having this exact problem on the 2.4.3 server and i thought nothing of it because i could actually get on 3.0.8/.9 but now i have no idea WTF is going on my info has been changed if a staff member could reply that would be great.

Personally, to avoid any Off-Topic remarks being brought into this Topic, I’d get a Legend Member or Swifteh to Lock this Topic or delete it for now. However, I can always ask for the Green light to place a temporary block on your Account - excogitation is the safer route to handle issues like this, considering GM has had it’s act of innovation on me.

Maybe some logical explanation might surface on the Forums, though I would of thought someone would of contacted you about you’re Account. I do recall Rouslan saying he was checking SVIP logs - though you would of gotten the suspension message pop up, so it can’t be that.

Anyways to institute that something gets done about this, I’d suggest also sending a PM to someone like Rouslan, Jim or Rogue also to tell them about this - that‘s assuming you haven‘t already taken that immediate action already.

Either way, needs to be sorted - ASAP.

the only things in the logs he would find about me is learning enchanting spells engineering spells and mounts so i really dont think i was banned, and if i was why would my info be changed?

I was just using that in a illustrate manner - as I said you would of gotten the suspension message pop up when you tried logging onto your Account.
