Left 4 dead

Subject: Left 4 dead Sun 15 Feb 2009, 2:55 pm

So I have it for pc and every time I close the game the textures of the menu screen blend with my desktop and I have to restart my computer. Anyone know what could be causing this? Only game that does this to me.

I'm assuming you can play the game just fine and closing the game is your only problem?

Yea i know it's called general discussion. I still say this is the WRONG place to ask this question. Want to know why? Look at what this thread has become in 5 minutes. it's already got nothing to do with the OP and i don't think it ever will. The question about his L4D problem is something that needs to be asked on a board specifically made to deal with it. I.E. Steam forums >.<

I wouldn't know how to fix it. I'd probably just play around with the video options first. If that doesn't work, then I'd just leave it be.

For me, i've never had that problem.
Explain your problem in more depth and can i have your system spec as well

Well it happens almost every time I close the game... It will just blend the textures of the l4d main menu with my desktop and screen... I have to restart my computer to fix it. My graphics card is up to date so I don't know why I have the problem.

Edit: video card is an ATI Radeon 4850x2 if that helps.

I don't know but it's worth a shot. Some games don't even take advantage of it and run better with a single card vs dual.

I know, it sucks but sometimes developers are just lazy. That and sometimes, hardware manufacturers make it that much more complicated that it may turn off some developers.
