V.C.N Patch 3.1x

Subject: V.C.N Patch 3.1x Thu 07 May 2009, 9:03 pm

I tried logging in with patch 3.1.1 but it said the 3.1 realm was offline. I went to the account creation thing and it said 3.0.9 was the only accepted client. So does this mean I have to downgrade to 3.0.9?

There is 2 realms on this server, 1 is 3.0.9 (wrath) other is 3.1.x Frozen. Frozen is offline... If you want to play 3.0.9 then use open 2 wow folder and depatch to 3.0.9 and u will have both..

ok so then frozen is just offline? V.C.N still supports 3.1.x?

3.0.9 supports 3.0.9, 3.1 supports 3.1

There's two realms.

When trying to connect to the Wrath server I get stuck at Connected.

Try to click cancel then it will pop up the board that list two realms and just click to Wrath.

You don't understand, When I try to connect to Wrath from the realmlist (Frozen is down) I get stuck at connected.

yea man its still 3.0.9 frozen is the only one that is 3.1

K. First: Delete patch.mpq
Second: Run Repair.exe
Third: Run Launcher and Patch to 3.0.9

And Fourth: Search on the Forums next time Wink

//edit: Not sure if you have to delete patch2.mpq too... i think it works both ways

Its easier to downpatch by deleting your System32 folder and running WoW repair

1. Downpatch to 3.0.9
2. Right-click your WoW folder
3. Click Copy
4. Right-click any open space in your C:\Program Files
5. Click Paste
6. Patch one folder up to 3.1.1
7 Leave one folder at 3.0.9
8. ???
9. Profit

What he meant about having 2 folders.... in this case is having 1 folder that stays on Wrath's patch, and then you have another folder that stays updated with whatever patch retail is on. What i do is. i have 3 folders: World of Warcraft, Copy of World of Warcraft, and Copy of Copy of World of Warcraft. One is Wrath patch. one is a different servers patch, and then my World of Warcraft folder is updated to retail. that way you never have to worry bout downpatching u just open the different folders up.
