Azshara Crater PvP

Subject: Azshara Crater PvP Mon 11 May 2009, 3:11 am

Let's face it, Gurubashi is a crap shoot for pvp. It turns into who has the bigger group or who can run out fast enough. And if you're ally, there's next to no point in even going there unless you're a rogue.
Warsong Gulch is the same way; it's not which team can work together better, it's which team can stick together better.
Testa and I were talking, and we both agreed that this server has the potential to be a true "hardcore pvp server".
Let's bring back Azshara Crater pvp. This will not work without the support of the players and the GMs alike.
Players of VCN, GO TO AZSHARA.
Now... who's with me?

Edit: A side issue Testa and I have discussed; why are there guards to keep people from getting ganked on a "hardcore pvp server"?

Back at 2.4.3 pvp at Azshara was awesome, put some portals around the malls and try to make it so that ally dont take a portal to horde base or horde to ally base.... most of the fun is killing people on the way to the oposite base.

Bring it back, my best memories of this server were 2.4.3 azshara crater pvp.
Also, take away the gaurds in everything but the wotlk malls, so if people want to gear without being ganked they can go there, but give back city pvp, its a part of pvp.. And this is a hardcore pvp server? Gief.

Azhara crater was nothign but a camp fest in 3.1 :/ either horde or alliance was butt fuckign each other's spawn. Ans it'd be run by donors and abusers. World PvP can't exist if stark imbalances exist in say, gear or in spells ( abusers, ms stacking, holy shock )
I awsn't around for the good times of 2.4.3, which is some sort of euporic age where nothing was wrong and PvP was balanced. But from what i've seen in 3.1 for the past 4 months ( Account does not indicate time participated in VCN ) Azhara crater was lack luster, boring, and severely lacking in attendance and enjoyment.

If Azshara were to be brought back like in 2.4.3 it should have some objective or reward or something, cause the same old world PVP it had was too openly spaced and boring
