V.C.N FroZeN 3.1

Well, much to say as we are waiting for the server to come back up let's have a mature descustion about what we want and in the new server and what is should be like,
Personally- I want it to be a raiding server with new Ulduar fully spawned if possibly, and i want it so you have to work for you're gear not just go down to the vending store and buy some stuff (This proves very Little), also it'll be nice if the servers where more stable.. then you would get more donations.

Add you're ideas below.

Frozen is going to be sexy.

Sure it will.

I highly doubt that there will ever be a fully working PvE server.

I actually tried to lead a guild on one when VCN made it.

Anyone who remembers <Nothing Personal> knows what I'm talking about.

But yeah, I wouldn't expect Rouslan to ever try that again.

Lets keep VCN as it always was, PvP server where you get gear immediately.

The only reason that we have Donor/Vote gear is so that the server gets larger and stays running.

We dont ask for 100% workin raids, Just fix the Mobs and that you can leave the instances when you enter and that all people come in the same ''group'' when they are going to do a wotlk instance.

same philosophy as now, new material, new gear, new weapons, thats all.
i m just expecting stability, balance and fixes like warlock / hunter pets. FoK for rogues, Mechano-Hog for engineers (only engineers should have it and 'd have 2 make it after lvl'ing to 420+) etc etc.

If you want to clear Ulduar, try it on retail for an actual challenge. Otherwise, you just basically want to go through an instance with shit mobs that aren't scripted with names of the bosses in Ulduar.

hey I still have my fun clearing fucked up instances x)

pve servers are retarted, why would you want to earn anything on a private server? if im gonna earn somehting might as well earn it on retail...

i vote for a Pve and also a PvP server (frozen 3.1?) work for the gear thats the fun part. els you just buy the gear and go outside dueling and go to goldshire where attacking horde is like rapeing a humanbeing irl.. all friends there bla bla / / Yawn!
who realy wants to donate on a server where you JUST duel. so frigging boring.
if its gonna be a pvp only server fix all Bgs and make them work like it should do.
working Bgs and work for your gear in pvp or pve thats what makes a good private server, Like retail but still not. a good example is if any1 is formiliour to the ChaosCrusade server, best frigging priv server ever made though it dosnt exist anymore
But anyway i think alot of people would agree that Work for the gear and working Bgs would be so much more fun. this is just an opinion of mine and an idea for the server but if i dont see any of that on vcn i wont play here not cause no1 probably dont care but if they share my opionion that vcn is just a dueling server they probably wont stay here anymore, no offence but there are better PvP Only servers out there to play on with all kinds of stuff, Wotlk pre tbc "wow" diff pvp systems etc etc. comment if u like but im not being an ass and just talking Sh** about vcn or that i could do a better job. This obviously isnt the server you belong in if your asking for Pve on a private server who has a description Hardcore Pvp server, and ou log on to see people raiding, Fail.

Chriz, I agree fully. Working for your gear is an important part of a private server experience. For example, you mentioned ChaosCrusade. That was, in my opinion, one of the best private servers of all time. I believe working for S3 and S4 gave people the idea of accomplishment. Sad that it shut down. Servers like Kamical WoW, with instant 80, All gear vendors, pretty much ruin the PvP experience. People just sit around the mall dueling.

Anyways, as for the PvE vs. PvP discussion, I personally dislike PvE, but the idea of a PvE element to the server wouldn't be a half bad idea.

Don't people come here to get away from the gear grind? Raiding is tedious at best even with a very high population...which VCN will never be able to support with the stability that you are hoping for. Let's operate under the assumption that reasonable people have other things to do besides play for gear 10 hours a day. Just as going to a vendor to buy gear proves nothing, so does being a lifeless WOW obsessed freak that is able to dedicate silly quantities of time to brute-force their way into elite armor/weps in order to tower over others who cannot dedicate obscenely huge portions of life to a video game.

No.just no!VCN is a PVP server!no place for PVE...

so the ppl who is dueling and chilling in GS atm they are all going to pvp for the t8 in the future...

im up for some PVE!
