first: alienware is fucking expensive, you could buy all the components for much lesser and build them...but thats bit work so not optimal or? there must be other pc configurators (i just know only german ones because i live there -.-) btw it would be helpfull if you say how much money you want spend in it max.

and btw even if you oc the cpu, dont think crysis will be palyable at very hight....

You can get that processor & Ram for like $200, maybe less depending on where you shop around.

CPU sucks, lol its equal to my processor only .1 Ghz faster and mine cost around £70 (around $117)

If your looking at a computer for $1000+ Then dual core isn''t a viable option, get quad core - much cheaper.

i both my pc for 280euroz without my graficcard and can run crysis, wow and gta4 on high with 40-60 fps  sooo you should be able to buy a super pc for 1000$ -_- 

If you shop around, ebay is normally the second best place to go -other places like your local computer store and that could be cheaper, i mean in the UK we have a shop called CeX where people bring in their unwanted computer stuff and they pay them some money and sell em on (thats where i got my processor). Many places are where you live and the internet itself. Another great place is the computer market or something like that, and if you want a top-end computer your looking at a budget.

But it all depends on where you go to buy your parts. If you buy a pre-made computer and over-time upgrade it, then really you got most of the pieces together -your just upgrading it. Now i only bought like 1-3 pre-made computers but since then i've just had the same system and bought parts with the spare money ive had, thus now my system is this(when clicking on the link, scroll to the very bottom)

- First things you should consider when buying a premade computer is the:
Ram (2GB~)
Graphics card (goto this Link for the list of gaming graphics cards)
Hard-drive. (around ~250 gig or more)
CPU (~2.4Ghz Dual core is prime. No less, anything above that margin)

its easy buy tripple core cpu for 100euro or quad for 150 , buy dual core is not really smart now.
