Hello I have a question about the power of mages.
I have around 2k spellpower but I hit around 3-4k on players without critting. Is the amount of damage normal?

mages cant hit for 18k. only warlocks can. i forgot what spell it is but when youre feared they can hit you for over 18k. on my mage i crit for 8k though

It's actually useable because of the lag.

Mages could hit 18k if they were donor-geared or bugged out.

Good question, yeah what spell are you using, if you're specced for frost and you're using frostbolt that's pretty close to normal, if you're using fireball or pyroblast as a fire specced mage then that's a pretty sad crit.

he said without critting lolz. and for frostbolt thats a normal regular hit(3k)

I hit a 18k frostbolt on a frozen player with 3k sp and zerker, no donor gear. Max is actually 21, on a npc.

But I didn't mention critting in frostbolts, only with the fireball and pyroblast part.

It's pretty normal damage IMO. My fireball non crits are around 5 to 7k and have gotten a 14k crit, but is rare for me to crit over 12k. I don't use pyro unless hotstreak procs then I barely pay attention to its dmg cuz I'm too busy lining up next spell or target lol.
