| Don't go quad core. Don't go AMD. Don't use ATI.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130370
imo
You could stick with the ATI GPU, but the ATI catalyst command center sucks huge dick and you won't be able to force AA and AF in anything.
I personally recommend that motherboard if you're planning to go intel. Works perfect for me.

| No games really run better quad vs dual core. Dual is cheaper. You can't force AA and AF with the catalyst AI. | |

| I know allot about computer Ive built 14 computers and I'm only 18 its a hobby of mine, I do extensive research on every component that I buy. This is what I could conjure up within 30 min just to give you an idea.
Mobo http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130136 GPU http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130136 PSU http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256021 RAM http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231194 CPU http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103678
Its less than $100 more than what you chose but with more research I can probably lower it to your price. I would very much like to talk to you and give you some advise and possibly build this computer for you dependent on were you live I'm assuming you live in Canada since you have CAD prices listed, I myself live in Canada perhaps we are not to far apart. PM me if you are interested or if you just want some more advise, id be glad to help, would be easier if we were able to talk on skype.

Well no game really takes much advantage from quad cores and even if it does it would be no were near the gain you would get from saving over a duel core and using that save towards a more powerful GPU the only reason you need a quad core for gaming is if you are quadfire or triple/quad sli I myself am using a AMD 6400 and the 7850 kills mine and the way it sounds to me he doesn't need a powerfull CPU hes not needing this new PC for Decoding/Encoding... and soon CPU wont be needed for those kind of Tasks anymore nvidia has already started on its tech for using the GPU with CUDA, and once the larabee from intel comes out CPU will be used for verry little

| The best PC is a Custom built one Alienware doesn't even offer the most powerful solution possible. If your too dumb or lazy to make your own computer the only company that will give you good computers but your still gonna pay too much is Falcon Northwest, but bottom line any computer made by any manufacturer cannot beat a custom computer when given the same price $1000 Alienware computer can be made for $600-$700 | |

Thx I don't doubt the capability's of triple core and quad cores they have there uses but as far as games go sure more and more games are supporting the extra cores but what it all really comes down to is your GPU the only time CPU power is need is when the GPUs become too much to handle and the CPU throttles your GPU not fully unlocking its potential this is were we see the Core i7 trully show two GTX295 in SLI or two 4870x2 in Xfire at its peak were as even the old Core 2 Quad extreems were even still throtoling.

This article Demonstrates the Core i7 power I wouldn't Say its overrated just its way to expensive and is not practicle to get the extreme model and its not juts the CPU that costs ya the mobo and DDR3 ram kills ya too http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/core-i7-gaming,2061-5.html
