Well after few hours of getting pissed and not able to compile the new revisions i came to conclusion (after i successfully compiled world/scripts without any errors or warnings) that the best way is to do the following:
First uninstall your Visual Studio Completely
Simply navigate to your control panel, click add-remove programs and Uninstall Visual Studio 2008 or which ever you use.
then go to
http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/
select Express Edition visual C++ with SP1
After the downloaded, install it.
VERY IMPORTANT you will also need to do the following steps as you most likely done before:

Windows Libraries Download Link
Installation Instructions:Navigate to the directory of your chosen compiler
- Code:
-
VS 2003: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7
VS 2005: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC
VS 2008: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC
Now open the file you just downloaded (windows libraries) and :
Copy the files in VC\include to VC\include.
Copy the files in VC\lib to VC\lib.
Next, you need to compile the zlib and PCRE libraries.
Depending on your compiler, open the solution under Sources:
- Code:
-
VS 2003: VC71-solution.sln
VS 2005: VC80-solution.sln
VS 2008: VC90-solution.sln
Depending on the architecture you want to build for, build the configuration:
Release/Win32 if you are under Win32,
Release/x64 if you are under Win64.
This should make a folder called Output_Release, or Output_x64_Release if you are building for X64.
In this folder you should find pcre.lib and zlib.lib.
Copy these two .lib files into:
(for Win32)
- Code:
-
VS 2003: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Vc7\lib
VS 2005: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\lib
VS 2008: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\lib
(for Win64)
- Code:
-
VS 2005: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\lib\amd64
VS 2008: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\lib\amd64
1. create new folder(call it w.e)
2. SVN checkout for heartstone in your clean folder
You don not need to create any dependencies or add additional folders to your projects.
Thats how i now able to compile my core without any warnings and massive errors.
Enjoy , hope this is clear enough[/QUOTE]
